On January 1st of 2002, the Christian Real Estate Network was launched as a service to help people find Christian Real Estate Agents around the country. 

Bart Smith, a Broker/Owner in the Re/Max system since 1987, along with his son Justin formed the Network with the vision of connecting Christian Real Estate professionals with buyers and sellers across North America.

The Network seeks to be a haven for people that are looking for someone to trust in the largest transaction of their lives.  Over the 4 years that the Network has been in business, we have discovered that the need for Christian Real Estate Agents was greater than we could have ever imagined. 

Practically every single client we have had so far is ecstatic about what the Network has to offer; Christian Agents and Loan Officers that have integrity, are professional, and who will care more about the client's needs than just making a commission.

As the Network grew and matured, we recognized the need for an association of Christian real estate agents and loan officers not only to help the public, but to help the real estate community also.  Over the 4 years we have been in business, we have slowly begun adding benefits into our membership structure to help our members network together, and grow as a national entity.  Our dream is to have a very large association of Christian real estate agents, loan officers, and real estate professionals around the country that can work together to further God’s kingdom through helping people with their real estate needs.

Becoming a member of the Christian Real Estate Network is a way to align yourself with the largest group of Christian real estate professionals in the country.  Your membership in the Network is a great way to let your clients know who you really work for.

Every Loan Officer that is accepted as a member of the Network will receive a free Lifetime 'Association Membership' (a $50 dollar value).  Here are the benefits of being in the Association:

• Private website for members only.  It is the place where all members login to view referrals.  But it also includes an entire community including a personal profile, friends list, multiple groups, multiple blogs, member discussion forum, real estate news, network updates, and alot more.

• Through the private member website, you will have direct access to all of the current members including contact information.  It is a great way to connect with other Christian agents and loan officers around the country.  We really encourage all members to make referrals to each other through the site.  Refer your friends, family and clients to other Network members that you can trust!

• On the private member website, you will have your own page that you can customize to your liking by adding your picture, biography, personal testimony, favorite links, or anything you like.

• Access to special graphics for your website and marketing materials to identify yourself as an official member of the Christian Real Estate Network.

• Access to a special section of our message board website: www.crenforums.com  This is a site for people to come get their real estate questions answered by the experts.  A place for any and all discussion about real estate, and a place to post prayer requests and praise reports.  On this site, there is a special discussion area for members only.

Receiving Leads from CREN

One of the primary benefits of joining the Network as a loan officer member is the opportunity to receive leads in your area for people looking for financing & refinancing.

• The Loan Officer Membership is for those that are looking to increase their business by receiving financing leads from the Network.  People around the country are looking for Bible-Believing Christian Loan Officers to help them with their financing needs.  We help these people by referring them to our members.

• Loan Officer members receive exclusive territories.  In many cases we have Loan Officers that serve entire states, and in other cases members that only serve individual counties.  This is completely dependent on the number of referrals we are getting in a particular area.  (We will not overlap a territory unless the leads are too numerous for one member to handle.  This is up to our discretion.  If there is overlap in an area, the leads will be given out on a rotational basis.  We will never under any circumstance give a lead to more than one member.)

• If the desired territory is unavailable, applicants will be placed on our waiting list.  All applicants that have to be placed on the waiting list will still be given the opportunity to join the Association for the regular lifetime membership price of $99.  That way, you will still be able to receive all the benefits of being in the Network.

• The Christian Real Estate Network advertises nationally to a variety of Christian and Real Estate media outlets.  We spend thousands of dollars each month to make sure that you get many good quality leads.  This includes ads on over 450 Christian radio stations nationwide.  Please visit our Advertising page for a look at how your membership dues are spent: View Advertising

• Referrals are attained through advertising (explained above), and customers are encouraged to complete a financing or refinancing form on our website, or make a direct request over the phone.  We contact each customer, and then forward their information to a Loan Officer in the corresponding area. 

• We require all members to contact each customer immediately upon receipt.  We hold to a 24hr. contact policy with our customers from the time their information is first received by the Network to the time a member makes direct contact.

• In most cases, financing leads are sent to our members via email.

Requirements for Membership:

• Minimum of 6 months experience

• Agree to contact every customer within 24 hrs. of receipt.

• Agree to check your email once daily.

• Agree to contact the Christian Real Estate Network immediately if you discover that you will not be able to serve the referred client (promising not to refer it to another loan officer or agent)

• Agree to contact the Christian Real Estate Network immediately if the referred client needs a Christian Real Estate agent in their area (This would only be the case on financing leads that we have not already sent to a Network agent.)

• Agree to provide the Christian Real Estate Network with constant updates on the clients we refer to you.

Cost of Membership:

• $49.95 Month-to-Month Membership Payment  **If you decide on the month-to-month option, a credit card is required**

or

• $475.00 per year (save $125 by paying for year upfront)

• If membership is accepted, a complimentary 'Association Membership' will be granted.  If there are no territories available, you will still be given the option to become an association member at the normal price of $99(Lifetime fee)  This will ensure that you will still be able to receive all the benefits of being in the Network.

• You may also just apply for the 'Association Membership'.  This doesn't include receiving referrals, but includes all the other benefits of the Network.
